Bắp cải bạn thái hoặc bào sợi vừa ăn. Cà rốt thái sợi rồi trộn cùng bắp cải, hành và rau ngò cắt nhỏ.

Trộn tất cả nguyên liệu cho phần sốt gồm: mayonnaise, bơ, mù tạt, giấm táo, đường, nước cốt chanh, muối, tiêu lại với nhau. Đồ phần nước sốt vừa làm ở bước trên vào trộn chung cùng bắp cải và cà rốt.
